Get The Kids Moving Outside At These Great Alpharetta Playgrounds

Wacky World
1815 Old Milton Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Wacky World is an Alpharetta classic and one of the most unique playgrounds around. Built by the community and updated over the years, it’s full of wooden tunnels, climbing structures, bridges, and slides. Kids can spend hours exploring its maze-like design while parents relax in the shaded areas. It’s tucked inside Wills Park and easy to access, making it a go-to favorite for families looking for a more imaginative space.
Webb Bridge Park, Alpharetta
4780 Webb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005
Webb Bridge Park is another Alpharetta gem of a playground, especially for families with kids of different ages. The playground is divided into two areas—one for toddlers and one for older kids—with lots of climbing, sliding, and interactive features in each. The entire area is surrounded by trees, so even in warmer months, there’s some built-in shade. There are also nearby walking trails and open fields, which make it easy to turn a quick playground visit into a whole afternoon outdoors.

Wills Park
11925 Wills Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Yes—Wills Park is home to Wacky World. But it also features a second modern playground near the Alpharetta recreation center. This newer structure has a soft, rubberized surface, tall slides, and accessible equipment. All making it an inclusive option for kids of all abilities. Parents appreciate the clean restrooms and nearby picnic shelters, and kids love the variety of climbing challenges and interactive play areas. Bonus: the equestrian center and dog park are nearby, which means even more fun if you want to explore after playtime.
Newtown Park
3150 Old Alabama Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022
Just a short drive from Alpharetta, Newtown Park in Johns Creek is well worth the visit. The playground is huge, with separate areas for toddlers and older children, all surrounded by trees and walking paths. There are picnic tables, open fields, and even a splash pad in the warmer months. Families love how clean and well-maintained they keep this park. Additionally, it’s the kind of spot you can visit again and again without anyone getting bored.
